Early Two Color Fuscias Vintage Tablecloth This is a 1930s tablecloth. Old fashioned fuscias in orange and green. Grinning is using spaces between colors because the printing methods were less accurate than later methods. Overdying where the green and orange are used together to create a deeper color. The colors are somewhat faded but I think they were not very strong to begin with. There is one light yellow stain peeping out from a fuscia. Hard to see unless you know where it is. Linen Pink Blue Floral MWT Napkins Vintage Tablecloth This is an interesting and unusual tablecloth! Printed on somewhat rustic oatmeal colored linen like some of the 60s cloths. However this pattern is pure 40s. It is from Leacock Quality Linens, one of my favorite manufacturers. The original paper label lists the pattern name as May Blossom and it has six matching napkins! It has some of the flax remaining in the weave so this is for someone who appreciates something a little different from the usual standard florals. Pink Carnations Gray Swags Vintage Tablecloth Pretty tablecloth that I think is a Simtex. Pink and gray swags with smudgy pink carnations. There is a pinhole to one edge of the center field. Some shadowy yellow staining only visible when the tablecloth is held to the light. Sorry about the bad picture! Roses on Gray MWT Vintage Tablecloth This is one of those mystery cloths. It is a finer but solid cream colored rayon/cotton blend with little dots like swiss. It has two paper labels stapled on, one from Diamond Bell (another company I have never heard of) and one from Hollywood Hand Prints that lists the pattern name as Rosebriar. Now it is not terribly unusual for tablecloths to have two labels. Many of the Parisian Prints also come with an Exclusive label next to it. What is unusual is that I have had this pattern with a Glowtex label! So I dont really know what to think! The tablecloth is really pretty but could use a freshening up.
