Orange Fruit Checks MWT Vintage Tablecloth As we head further into the 60s, more manufacturers bagged their tablecloths and left the labels loose in the bag. That is what happened with this tablecloth. Of course I removed the bag and now the label is just folded in. The manufacturer is Penneys Fashion Manor and the pattern name is Fruit Check. A couple of light spots near the edges that look likely to wash out. Fabulous 30s Veggies Vintage Tablecloth I have to admit that I held onto this one for a while because I liked it so much. I am partial to these late 30s two color linens. It has been well loved and is somewhat faded. A couple of soaks faded some yellow spots that are no longer visible on the table. A great example of this era of tablecloth! Blue Green Grapes on Red NWT Vintage Tablecloth This great pattern is from Broderie and it has the original paper label. Unfortunately it has some fairly dark age staining on the part with the label and along some of the folds. Hopefully some care will return it to its past glory. Shabby Fruit Squares Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth This is a Sara Jane print. It was not strongly colored when new, however now it has faded to a pretty, shabby look. Primary colors. Sweet! Funky Fruit Bowls MWT Vintage Tablecloth Marlene Linens makes some of the best repeating array style tablecloths. This one is called Fancy Fruit. Many are confused with Wilendur even though they are often printed on textured cotton which I dont think Wilendur ever used. This one is printed on smooth midweight cotton. Has the best bright crayony colors and wonderful funky design! Does have some light age staining along some of the folds but it looks to me like it is likely to soak out. Shabby Red Fruit Basket Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth does have a few minor issues but it also has great graphics that just scream vintage tablecloth to me! Wonderful fruit in pretty red baskets at each corner. Red basket weaving in the center with tiny strewn flowers. It is somewhat faded. Pink Purple Fruit Basket Vintage Tablecloth I have an orange linen version of this tablecloth up for sale. It is from Penneys Fashion Manor. This one has a pinky background with purple and fuscia fruit. Funky and fun! The pattern is somewhat faded, mostly noticeable in the dark colored fruit. There is a fabric flaw in the center that makes the fabric there slightly thinner but that is only noticeable when the tablecloth is held to the light. There is a cluster of deep spots on the back that are barely visible on the front when the tablecloth is on the table. A couple of tiny blue spots nearby. Heavy Fruit Swoops on Blue Vintage Tablecloth One of those old sailcloth weight tablecloths. Very heavy and large. It has fruit in primary colors and wonderful big blue swoops and a pretty blue center. There are a couple of largish light yellow stains but hopefully these will fade in another soak. Victory Garden Veggies Vintage Tablecloth You all know how I adore WWII and pre-war cloths. Those make up most of my personal collection. This cloth is from the war era and is one of those Victory Garden cloths. They were printed at a time when the government was encouraging Americans to grow their own produce to supplement their war rations. The tablecloth has a pretty cream colored textured background that doesnt show well in pictures. This cloth does have one largish tea looking stain that survived the Oxyclean soak. Hand Printed Fruit Vintage Tablecloth Adorable fruit cloth! Another one of my favorite patterns (yeah, I know). The loose printing points to an earlier date when hand printing was common.
