United States Souvenir NWT Vintage Tablecloth In the past couple of weeks I have had this tablecloth in in linen, which I have never seen before! Then to find this cotton one with the original paper label is really incredible! The label lists the manufacturer as Atlantic Creations. Most of the time I get this tablecloth it has been well loved. This one does have some medium storage staining along some of the folds and some dirt along the edges here and there. One small spot by the Texas coast. However, this is a rare find! Amazing RWB Nautical NWT Vintage Tablecloth This is in the top 5 greatest tablecloths I have ever owned! It is certainly the best nautical pattern. Look at the funny people in the boat! I may have run across it before but I dont remember ever seeing it. The tablecloth has a few condition issues but nothing terrible. It does have the paper label from my all-time favorite manufacturer G.S. Co. It is just amazing! There is light age staining here and there throughout. A few places where there are these light lines as pictured. I cant figure out whether those are just age staining too. Some solid age staining to the area around the label but it is light enough that it looks like it should soak out. I tried to show it but it really doesnt show up well. Kansas State Souvenir MWT Vintage Tablecloth This Kansas tablecloth is much less common than the 60s Simtex Kansas. Printed on cactus cloth, it dates to the late 30s or early 40s. Favorite Florida State NWT Vintage Tablecloth The primary colored graphics on linen/ramie means that this is not your regular Florida souvenir tablecloth. Has a partial label attached from Hadson with the rest of the label travelling with. A prior owner must have accidentally ripped it. This tablecloth has the best flamingoes I have ever seen. It even has a monkey climbing up a palm tree. I have heard that there is a colony of monkeys living somewhere in South Florida. Maybe the ones at Monkey Jungle? There is some medium age staining along some of the folds and areas close to the folds but this really is a sweet and wonderful tablecloth! Unusual Blue Mexican NWT Vintage Tablecloth While this unusual tablecloth has the original paper label, it also has some minor damage. I dont know who this manufacturer is, they seem to have printed a lot of interesting early cloths. This one has a cactus cloth type background with various figures against blue arches. Very interesting! There are deep stains at each corner. I dont know what they are so dont know if they will come out. At the corner near the label, there is a small cut in the selvedge, about a quarter inch. I would probably put a couple of stitches in to stabilize before washing the tablecloth. There is one two inch square of blue that looks like maybe it was worn or not properly printed. A couple of small age type spots. Size: 51 X 47 Fabric Content: Midweight cactus cloth? I just think they are fun and I want to buy every one I see with a sewn in tag. I think they are a great addition to this sewn in archive I have been planning. Rare Hollywood California Souvenir Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth doesnt show up very often. It has been reproduced as yardage and that turns up now and then. This is the original cactus cloth version with the colors still bright. It has locations for various sites including Graumans Chinese Theater and USC. I expect someone could date the cloth by digging into the history of the different places. The graphics are reminiscent of the 1939 Worlds Fair tablecloth graphics so I think probably a similar time. It is as found condition. I am hesitant to soak these historical tablecloths. There is slight age to the entire cloth plus one spot out by the San Fernando Valley. Pastel Stripes MWT Vintage Tablecloth I had to fight with myself not to keep this adorable pastel striped tablecloth. It reminds me of a tablecloth my Mom had when I was young in the 60s. Very sweet! HTF Mint Disneyland Souvenir Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth turns up now and then but is pretty hard to find. Especially in this condition which I believe is unwashed and only missing the original paper label. According to Souvenir Linens by Pam Glasell, this dates to the park opening in 1955. I think most people took their souvenir home and used it to remind themselves of their vacation. So to find it in this condition is unusual. It has the original Callaway paper label which is unusual because most of the known Callaway signed designs come with Aristocraft paper labels not Callaway. Red Simtex Picnic Plaid NWT Vintage Tablecloth This wonderful red and white woven plaid tablecloth has the original label from Simtex. The red is woven into the fabric instead of being printed on top. I especially love the thicker red line that acts as a border close to the edges, a touch of elegance to what may have been a utility cloth for picnics or barbeques. Michele Piccolo of Dustys Vintage Linens calls these picnic plaids and has said in the past that she thinks they are the collectibles of the future. There is some fairly dark age staining along one fold that thankfully is close to the edge. If it doesnt soak completely out, it may be on the drop anyway. Scandinadian Stripes Mod MWT Vintage Tablecloth Doesnt this tablecloth scream 70s teak furniture to you? It does to me. The furniture my parents had and kids my age grew up with. This Leacock tablecloth has mustard and black stripes on linen with an overlock stitched edge. The linen is treated to be permanent press. The Leacock label was loose in the bag with the tablecloth which I of course removed because storage in plastic bags is death to vintage tablecloths. The pattern name is Scandinavian Stripe.
