Vintage Values  
Vintage value tablecloths are those imperfect cloths that I've accumulated over the years. I have several hundred tablecloths that are not quite collectible quality but would be great for dinner with the kids or for making curtains or pillows. Most have been soaked but not all have been ironed. I will do my best to describe any blems as accurately as my other cloths. They're not damaged, they're just well loved!

Large Teal Iris Vintage Tablecloth I think this is a Sun-Glo tablecloth. It has teal and sage green flowers with black edging. It is larger than usual. There is a light yellow stain that might come out with an Oxy soak. There is a fabric fault that runs parallel to the hem at one end, a couple of inches in. Another lot from my regular supplier. Green Dogwood on Taupe Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is a nice weight textured cotton. Maybe a Simtex? It looks like there might be a fugitive dye problem because the pattern seems incomplete. There are 2-3 very light yellow spots in the center area. One little taupe smudge by a selvedge. It would make cute trim for Christmas projects. Another lot from my regular supplier. Blue Springmaid Floral Two Vintage Tablecloth This soft pastel pattern is a Springmaid. I have had it a few time MWT and it doesnt look much different from this one. This is the second of two tablecloths with this pattern and coloration. There are 2-3 small pinholes. Also a few very light stains that are hard to see on the table. Blue Floral Wrought Iron Vintage Tablecloth This feels like another late 50s early 60s Simtex. It has blue, green and teal flowers against a black wrought iron railing. It is gently faded. Melon Blue Floral Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth This shabby tablecloth has an unusual color combination of coral, blue and olive. It would be wonderful worked into a Christmas Della Robia display! It is somewhat faded and soft from use. There are two bid yellow stains, one out in the border, the other in the center area. The one in the center area is hard to see. Wilendur Red Floral Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth I have described this tablecloth as a cutter because it has a couple of large areas of yellow stains that did not come out when the tablecloth was soaked. There is also a pinhole in the center area. The rest of the fabric is white and strong and it would make some great pillows.

Gladioli on Gray Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth Pretty gray tablecloth with lots of fabric if you want to make things. It is intact enough to use with the kids if you prefer. There are fewer than 5 pinholes. There is a light gray swipe in the center area. There is a big yellow very light stain on the edge that I didnt see until I folded the tablecloth. There is some wear to the edge of the hems as can happen in these blended tablecloths. This is from another lot of tablecloths that I am listing the way they are. I have had good results with Oxy products on these items.

Shabby Floral on Gray Vintage Tablecloth I am used to seeing this tablecloth in blue. I have never had it in gray before. It is gently faded with a few pinholes and quite a bit of light yellow staining through the gray area. The staining is visible but not obvious. The flower colors are coral, green, yellow and brown. This is from another lot of tablecloths that I am listing the way they are. I have had good results with Oxy products on these items.

Unusual Pink Magenta Linen Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is a lighter weight linen but it has a lot of heft to it. Very drapey. It is an unusual swoopy print and I really dont know how to describe it. It seems gently faded with pretty pink, magenta and taupe. There is an area about 4-6 inches square with some faded yellow stains. Still visible if you look for them, they did fade in an Oxy soak.

60s Gray Grapes Rayon? Vintage Tablecloth This darling single color tablecloth seems to be a high rayon content. It has an overlock edge which indicates a 60s date. It is pretty and drapey. Two issues with this cloth. First, a stain out by the outer border which I would assume will not come out. Second, the overlock stitching is coming apart some at the corners as pictured. Another from the first lot from a new seller. These tablecloths have been cleaned but not stain treated. They have a smell of bleach. I am not a complete anti-chlorine bleach purist although I choose to only use it myself in dire emergency, like for dye runs.

Peach Floral Gold Ring Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth I have this tablecloth in yellow with the original label and it is a Leacock. It is really pretty but this one should be considered a cutter. It has a big fabric fault to one end of the center field. It has a snag also in the center. There is a quarter size light stain. The hems may have been resewn, I am not sure. If so, they were well done. You could still use this on your table if you are not picky. It is a pretty and unusual pattern.

Tan Roses Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth Pretty but imperfect, this seems like a late 50s early 60s tablecloth to me. I would cut it up for pillows or see if you can rescue it to use it on your table. There are two big yellow stains in the center area plus one outside the border. There are several small worn spots through the tan border. Finally a few small darker marks outside the border.

Faded Clover on Tan Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth Another towards my goal of moving these cutter tablecloths out of my house and off to a happy new home. I called this one tan but its really somewhere between a tan and a mustard. Its prettier than you would expect offset with the green and purple of the flowers. The tablecloth is gently faded and there are some visible rust colored stains by the selvedge. I also found some smudgey gray stains when I folded the cloth.

Tan Ivy Linen Overlock Edge Vintage Tablecloth Another in my goal to clear the stacks! This natural linen tablecloth has brown bars and ivy in coral, burgundy and green. I have way too many tablecloths (around 2500 I suspect) so I just can't soak everything. This one has an area of age darkening that is about an inch or so by about 8 inches or so. It also has a couple of small rust colored stains near an edge.

Pretty Spring Floral Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is very unusual! I loved it as soon as I saw it! It has these great bows and great swoops of multicolored roses. Green Orange Damsels Vintage Tablecloth I've had this tablecloth around for a while because I think it's darned cute! I have it up for sale in an unwashed version in red and blue. I like this one though. It's big, gently faded and looks like a family loved it very much. It does have a few very light dark marks outside the outer border. There is also a small rust colored spot also outside the border. I found two tiny wear spots. One between the ladies and the outer border and one out by a hem. It has a lot of fun left to give.

Gladioli on Navy Vintage Tablecloth Hmm. I was very disappointed when I got this tablecloth. The center was a horrible yellow, the selvedges trashed. There are several small worn spots including the biggest, a quarter inch, right in the middle of the cloth. I soaked it and the stains are much better. It is too pretty to stash away somewhere. It would make great curtains!

Gray Band Mod Floral Vintage Tablecloth Nice cotton floral tablecloth. Something a little different from the overblown flower bunches. It has nice gray bands with little red lacy bits that remind me of those miniature green wire fences people use around their gardens (stops the plants from escaping, I guess :o). It also has these vining mod flowers in a rose pink, deep pinky red, chartreuse and gray. There is some yellow staining in the center field but it's just visible on the table. Also there are two broken threads, one in the center field. Finally, there is a cluster of yellow staining that looks like highlighter. Fortunately it's close to the hem on one drop.

Cutter Pink Floral Vintage Tablecloth I thought long and hard about this tablecloth. It is definately a cutter. It has little holes here and there throughout. It has yellow stains which I have not tried to get out. It also has rust stains here and there. The pink center appears to have been bleached. It actually looks worse in person than it does in the pictures. I can't get the stains to come out right. OTOH, it's very cute. I might cut the flower bunches and use them as appliques on a shabby quilt or cushions. The band around the pink center would make a cute accent. The weight of the cotton is not too heavy. I think it would work well with quilting fabric. It's heavier than sheeting though.

Yellow Flairspun Fruit Vintage Tablecloth in box w napkins This tablecloth is still in the box bottom. It has four yellow napkins to go with it. The pattern appears to only be on one corner, although I can't tell for sure without removing it from the box. There is no top to the box and the bottom is broken in a couple of places.
