Wonderful Wilendurs Vintage Tablecloths  
Wilendur vintage tablecloths and the other Weil and Durrse brands like Pride of Flanders and America's Pride are considered to be the best of the best by some floral vintage tablecloth collectors. The fabric they chose was heavy and durable. The colors were bright and clear and the printing showed their attention to detail. I love the linen Pride of Flanders cloths the best of the W & D tablecloths. I like the way they drape. Wilendur(e) Christmas tablecloths can be found in the Christmas section of the website.

Wilendur Peonies on Blue Napkins Vintage Tablecloth I need to put some of these Wilendurs up for sale. I am keeping the faded one. This is a larger 12 bunch tablecloth that has six matching napkins. It is gently faded and there is one small rust colored spot right by a corner. There is a partial very light ring stain in the pattern. Hard to see unless you know it is there. Purple Wilendure Roses Cutter? Vintage Tablecloth The name of this Wilendure pattern is Long Stemmed Rose. It was designed in 1961 by Sergei Bogdnovich, Wilendurs most famous designer, according to Elegant Table Linens by Michelle Hayes. It is what I call a selvedge design where the pattern runs lengthwise along the selvedges. Purple is harder to find than the usual Wilendur rose colors of yellow, red and pink. This tablecloth has stains that faded but were not removed with several Oxy soaks. Wilendur Fruit Squares Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth has a sewn in Wilendur tag. It has a wide bright yellow border and fruit in squares. It is gently faded and could use a soak to brighten it up. It has about 10 tiny worn spots or pinholes which seem pretty common on these old Wilendurs. I dont know why that is. There is one inch long stain that was caused when my iron spit. Fortunately it is on the back and not really visible on the front when the tablecloth is on the table. Wilendur Faded Watercolor Floral Vintage Tablecloth This is one of the less common Wilendur border print florals. It has a soft watercolor appearance even when new. This one is in good useable condition. The background is white and strong. I found tiny rust colored stain in the center area which may come out with Carbona Rust. Two others by a hem. The selvedges are a little raggedy in a few places but I would ignore that for this wonderful pattern. This is from another lot of tablecloths that I am listing the way they are. I have had good results with Oxy products on these items.

Americas Pride Gladioli Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth feels like a cotton rayon blend so this is probably the Americas Pride version of this tablecloth named Madison. The colors are wonderful! There is one gently faded yellow stain that I cannot see on the table. One pair of broken threads out by a selvedge as pictured.

Pride of Flanders Wildflower Pond Vintage Tablecloth This pattern has been printed on linen for P of F and cotton for Wilendur. I love the colors in this linen version. Mauve, magenta, cornflower and pea green. It is really pretty! It is one of few scenic patterns made by the Weil & Durrse companies. One corner is undone about 3/4 inch.

Wilendure Talisman Rose NWT Vintage Tablecloth This tablecloth is a beautiful example of what I call the border Wilendur(e) style. It has olive leaves consistent with a 1960s printing date. The e was added to Wilendur in 1958. There is some age staining to the folds plus some dirt smudges between the border and the edges of the tablecloth.

Pride of Flanders Coral EMPRESS ROSE on Linen Vintage Tablecloth Pride of Flanders is the name that Wilendur used to produce linen cloths. This is a gorgeous deep coral natural linen cloth with the name EMPRESS ROSE. Wilendur does the best dimensional leaves and the ones on this cloth are no exception. The dye is very strong. This cloth has not been washed very many times. There is no label, but the quality of the linen and the printing is impossible to miss. It's just too pretty to stuff in a cupboard!
