Boston Massachusetts Linen w Napkins Souvenir Novelty Vintage Printed Tablecloth (50 X 48)
Pretty linen set showing the Boston Gardens that was produced for R. H. Sterns Co. It was a company that catered to higher end clients in the Boston area. It lasted over a hundred years and closed in the late 1970s. This set is predominantly yellow and green and is gently faded although the colors are lighter and don't show as well as some of the other colorways. One rusty spot between the border and the center. One hard to notice fade line through the yellow center. Five matching napkins. Since it is a square tablecloth instead of rectangular I'm betting a forward thinking hostess grabbed four plus a spare.
